Disaster Preparedness Plan Emergency dismissals may be made at any time by the principal or representative when a serious condition such as sickness, accident, natural disaster, etc. warrants it. If an emergency occurs outside of school hours, listen to a local radio station for instructions of school closure. As a general rule, the school will follow the same procedure as the local public school district. St. Martin of Tours Academy follows the procedures outlined for "Disaster Preparedness" by the San Diego Diocese Office for Schools and the La Mesa Police and Fire Departments.
